That being said, I enjoyed how in-sync these two were. While Shiro does act mature for her age, some of the situations she was put in made me uncomfortable. I don't think I like Shiro as much as Sora, but that's mostly because I'm not into 11 year old children. Likewise, his little sister, Shiro, is an adorable and intelligent person. Sora is an interesting character, and though I feel like he sometimes strays into sue-dom, his general insanity shoves whatever perfection he might seem to have out of the window. I still like the anime more, but I didn't dislike the story told here. I don't know if it's due to the translations, or if it's because of the source content, but there were a lot of mistakes that would jerk me out of what was generally an immersive and enjoyable book.ĭisregarding the English itself, the story was fun. Basically, the writing in this volume was bad. There were formatting issues, random switches between past to present tense, random switches between first to third person without any indication that these were the thoughts of our characters, head hopping, spelling errors, punctuation errors, and incomplete sentences.
I found more than just a few minor grammatical errors. There were a load of mistakes piled up to the ceiling. I regret to say that I am somewhat disappointed with this volume. After all, the anime is based off the novels, and I love reading more than watching.

I loved the anime series, and I thought I would love the light novel series even more. I first picked this series up because the anime was awesome. Earth might not be a viable place to play as it doesn't mean that the rules of Disboard applies to other worlds.So. That is, assuming Tet is allowed to do that.Seriously, after the inviolable rules and Magically Binding Contracts of Dishboard, what could be a better challenge than operating under restrictions that their opponents will not have? Instead of the Ten Pledges of Tet, the new game will follow the Six Pledges of Riku, which means their greatest challenge will be stopping Jibril from vaporizing people. After all, if Tet can bring the siblings to Dishboard without trouble, there's no reason (s)he can't send others to Earth. Naturally, Jibril will follow them why should she let something petty like dimensional distance keep her away from her masters? Plum will come too (or be dragged along by Jibril) because of a G-Rated Drug addiction to Sora's bodily fluids. The only people they would have left to beat are their past lives in the one game they gave up on: Earth. Once Blank reaches godhood, what would be next? By that point they would have already beaten the rest of the Exceeds, which are represented by their best players. Sora and Shiro will return to Earth at the end of the series.In one of the lns, Tet says that the duo could never compare to Riku and Shuvi because the siblings ran away from their problems while the couple faced theirs head on. Imagine if every story ended the exact same way.
If everything in fiction has to be realistic, do you believe that Dying Dream's are real as well? Also, just because a character was revealed to be in a Dying Dream in one other completely unrelated story, doesn't mean that it has to happen Every.
